Reiner Mittelbach

MittelbachReiner Mittelbach studied Business and Engineering in Karlsruhe, Germany.

In 2001 Reiner Mittelbach took over the helm at IFRA, the worlds largest newspaper association in the fields of strategy and technology in Darmstadt, Germany, as well as the network of IFRA affiliates and representations that has been built up. After the merger of IFRA and WAN (World Association of Newspapers), he left the organisation in 2010.

In 2011 he became CEO of Geopolitical Information Service AG, a Liechtenstein-based start-up company providing intelligence and insights in the fields of geopolitics, economics, defense, security and energy. During the almost two years since the company started from scratch a team of almost 50 experts was established and more than 700 intelligence reports published.
